The physician's role in society is one that is without a doubt VALUED and NEEDED. Why? Because they help maintain our health— with their knowledge, expertise, decision-making, etc.
When we hear the terms diagnose, prescribe, and/or treat, many think of ONLY physicians. However, this should be the framework for all creative professionals. Like us— brand strategist. We are the physician's of the business world.
In today's market, building a brand is ESSENTIAL. Whether you're selling a product, service, or building a community. This applies to business brands, or more importantly, personal brands. Having a brand strategist can be helpful to audit your current brand state, help with positioning, development, management, and/or crisis management.
To all creative and some non-creative professionals, you may be able to take away from this. Instead of your clients, patients, or customers telling you what they THINK they need— stop & ask questions first. See if you can implement the diagnose, treat, and prescribe framework into your situation. The person you're speaking to may see you as more valuable.
